In this video, I’m going to show you how to create an elevator pitch that will make people WANT to work with you and your business.
Specifically, I’m going to show you the step-by-step process that I used to create a winning elevator pitch for my startup, Vivino.
Your first step is to know who is most likely to hear your elevator pitch. Is it going to be potential investors? Or are you heading to meetups to find a co-founder? You definitely want to have this down before you start writing your pitch.
Second, I’ll show you how to actually structure your pitch by focusing on what you want the person listening to actually do.
Next, you’ll learn how to come up with ideas… and how to “frontload” and “backload” the most important parts in your pitch. That way, the big idea of your pitch has maximum impact.
The last step is to refine your elevator pitch so that it gets better over time. Some of this is sheer repetition. But some of it is also getting your pitch in front of people and gauging their reaction.
