Descriptions:

Here’s what I will cover in this job interview skills training video:
#1. I will explain why the interviewer is asking you this tough interview question!
#2. I will explain the 3 things you MUST include in your answer.
#3. I will give you 2 brilliant example answers to help you PASS your job interview.

WHY IS THE INTERVIEWER ASKING YOU THE QUESTION, WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 5 YEARS’ TIME?
#1. If you have a plan of what you are going to be doing in your life within the next 5 years, it shows you are far more likely to be a high achiever.
#2. Recruiting the right person takes time, energy, and resources, and if you have plans to move on and work somewhere else not long after starting, they are less likely to hire you.

THE 3 THINGS YOU MUST INCLUDE IN YOUR ANSWER TO: WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 5 YEARS:
#1. The fact that you plan to still be working for their company.
#2. That you will have developed both personally and professionally.
#3. That you will be a trusted, reliable, and supportive employee who is helping the organization to thrive and move forward.

TWO EXAMPLE ANSWERS TO THE INTERVIEW QUESTION, WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 5 YEARS?
(Tell me in the comments section below which one you think is strongest!)

ANSWER OPTION NUMBER 1 02:59
“I already have a plan of where I want to be in the future. In five years’ time I still plan to be working for your company either in the same role, or having gained advancement to a higher level. In five years’ time I will have participated in numerous team projects and helped the business move forward significantly. Finally, in five years’ time I would want to be seen as a trusted, reliable, and productive member of your organization who can be relied upon to deliver results both on time and to the requested standard.”

ANSWER OPTION NUMBER 2 03:39
“In five years’ time I want to still be working for your business. I have set my sights on this role with your company for some time now, and I see my career developing solely with your organization. In five years’ time I would have developed both professionally and personally. I plan to achieve this by completing lots of training development courses, and by working on challenging projects that constantly push my skills and qualities. In five years’ time I would also want to be seen as someone who could be relied upon to help train up newer members of staff as and when they join the organization.”
